Following a field mission to Brazil at the end of 2024, the John Cockerill Foundation entered into a strategic partnership with the OMUNGA Institute, renowned for its commitment to education and culture. As part of its collaboration with the non-profit organisation Prométhéa, which aims to bring culture, heritage and the private sector closer together, the John Cockerill Foundation took part in a cultural speed-dating session to support innovative projects. On this occasion, it highlighted the project of the non-profit organisation Art&Faq, which offers an inclusive puppet show focused on diversity and disability in primary schools in Wallonia.
Morocco
For several years, the province of Al Haouz in Morocco has been facing severe droughts, leading to a decrease in water resources. This situation was exacerbated by the 2023 earthquake, which caused significant damage to drinking water supply infrastructure. These crises have particularly affected disadvantaged local populations, especially in the most isolated villages.
